Harry Harris is a prolific, energetic and captivating songwriter who, over the past few years, has established himself as one of the most exciting the UK has to offer.
Harry Harris’ third album, I FEEL DRUNK ALL THE TIME, will be released on June 21 2019. Recorded at Glasgow’s Glo Worm Recording Studios and featuring a stellar band of musicians including Al Shields, Robin Brill, Rosie Bans, Martha Ffion, Pedro Cameron, and Angus Munro, the record is Harry’s most personal and ambitious to date. Born from the grief that followed after the death of his best friend, the songs are nevertheless tinged with hope, love, and joy.
His sophomore album Songs About Other People was given five stars and named the top folk album of 2015 by The Telegraph, with the beautiful single The Ballad of Ronnie Radford named Song of the Year by FATEA Magazine. In 2017 he followed that up with The Andre The Giant EP, a collaboration with producers Chemikal Recipe and designer Gavin Day, which was released as a limited edition graphic novella.
Now based in Edinburgh, he was Highly Commended in the Danny Kyle Open Stage Award at Celtic Connections, and is a Nothing Ever Happens Here Associate Artist at Edinburgh arts venue Summerhall.
He's also one-third of a folk-punk band called Greyhounds Greyhounds Greyhounds.
